You may have recently heard that after a little over two years as a motoring blogger, I have successfully ‘broken through’ and been appointed as a full-time Staff Writer at Parkers.

I intend to continue populating the site but with more features and smaller, observational blog posts rather than car reviews and industry news but that’s where you might be able to come in. Yes, you.
As I will have far less time available to devote to the website, Petroleum Vitae needs and deserves a committed new editor who can continue to develop and grow the site, making it current, engaging and most importantly, an opportunity for you to showcase your own work.
Like the majority of the blogs, there’s no income from the site, although that might be something you wish to reappraise as Editor. More importantly, I want the site to live on and prosper under its new management.
I intend to remain as owner of the Petroleum Vitae brand, site and associated social media outlets, so please have that in mind before proceeding further.
If you would like to put yourself forward for consideration as Petroleum Vitae’s new Editor then drop me an email outlining examples of your current/previous editing skills and content you have created, ideas for how you would make Petroleum Vitae even more popular and finally, how you would stamp your own mark on the site whilst retaining its integrity.
Closing date for interested parties is 30 June 2013.
Good luck.
Got something to say? Go for it!
